servus

Servus is a Perl Webserver built on top of HTTP::Daemon and the LWP. In a horrible reinvention of the wheel, it supports CGI allowing you to use normal CGI scripts from "real" webservers unchanged within servus. Servus is a simple solution to a problem that comes up over and over again: "Do we have to use apache?? Is there some way to get the script to answer HTTP requests?"

Servus comes with absolutely NO WARRANTY or guarantee of its stability or security. This isn't to say that it isn't stable or secure, just that the responsibility of keeping your box secure is yours, and improper configuration of servus is not the fault or responsibility of the author. How's that for legalese?
